Can I use your images on my site?
No! Absolutely not. You may use them for your desktop or even for your mySpace (although we do have mySpace profiles here), but under no circumstances can you use them on your site. I worked very hard capturing each one of those screenshots manually, and the first person I see who steals them will be deep fried in a vat of hot oil and served to the first hundred viewers.

Why should I buy from your store?
Basically, to keep it in the family. I do get a percentage of everything bought from this store (a woefully small percentage, considering the time I put into this site). I do all the work myself (except some of the cool image work from John Pavlich), plus I pay for the hosting, so every little bit helps.

What is that one song that they play when they're opening up the store, you know, when Mark gets the orange M&M and then later A.J. burns the CD?

Why can't I find (band/artist)?
I found most of the bands and musicians from Empire on Amazon (see my store). There were a few, such as the Dirt Clods, who didn't come up; my friend John told me that the Dirt Clods were actually commissioned to do those songs for Empire Records, so those songs were probably never released. Among others I didn't find were "LA Girl" by the Adolescents (although I did find the Adolescents) and "Real" by Real. If anybody has any info, please e-mail me at gluing_quarters :: yahoo.com .

Who are Lilly and Andre??
Empire was originally supposed to have spanned two days. Lilly and Andre were characters that were cut; Lilly is supposed to have been Warren's sister, the story goes. I read that both Dianna Miranda (Lilly) and Tobey Maguire (Andre) were cut due to health reasons.

Where was Empire filmed? Is it a real store?
Sadly, no. Empire Records was written by Carol Heikkinen, a former Tower Records employee. Besides the obvious scenes in Atlantic City, Empire Records was filmed in Wilmington, NC (according to imdb.com).

Will you link me?
Possibly, but please don't get upset if I don't. I have very limited space here for banners. If you are going to submit a banner, it must be 138px wide. No more, no less. It should be 100 px tall or less. As you can see, I don't have a place for text links or webrings. Too often, Empire Records sites are neglected for years (I've seen some that are a decade old), and then the links don't work, etc. I'd rather link non-Empire Records sites. If you're an artist, a musician, or you have an otherwise cool site, let me know.
